Poli Buzz is a search spelling discussed here for PolyBuzz. Comparing it with Nomi becomes useful when an enjoyable scene should continue later. You may prefer discovering a new character, or you may want one fictional relationship to develop across sessions. Either choice benefits from a short note that records what actually happened.
This independent guide reviewed official information on October 8, 2026. The note-taking exercise below is original; no memory benchmark or account migration was performed.
Capture an event rather than the entire conversation
Imagine two adult fictional travelers planning to visit a coastal museum. At the end of a non-explicit conversation, record three things: the visit is planned for Saturday, tickets have not been booked, and the player will decide whether to invite a third character. Leave out decorative dialogue that does not affect the next scene.
The distinction between a plan and a completed event matters. A recap that turns “we might book” into “we booked” creates a new continuity error. Check any assistant-generated summary against the actual messages before saving it.
| Note field | Example | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Established event | Saturday was proposed | Preserves what was agreed |
| Unresolved fact | Tickets remain unbooked | Prevents invented completion |
| Next decision | Player chooses the guest | Keeps agency with the reader |
| Stable boundary | Use a calm, non-explicit scene | Preserves the intended tone |
Distinguish discovery from continuity
PolyBuzz’s FAQ describes a character discovery and creation service. Nomi’s getting-started guide describes companion setup and optional shared notes. These are documented ways to organize the experience, not proof that one service remembers every detail better.
For a public PolyBuzz character, record enough card identity to find it again. For a continuing Nomi, inspect the supported context fields before placing the note. In either case, avoid assuming that a displayed character name identifies the same creator or that a new session automatically inherits all earlier events.
Return with a neutral cue
First return to the intended conversation and ask what still needs to be decided about the museum visit. Compare the response with your note. If it invents purchased tickets, correct that one fact and observe whether the next reply respects the correction.
Then supply the short note if needed. This measures the usefulness of a context repair. It does not establish that the assistant independently recalled the event. Keep those outcomes separate in your evaluation.
Keep portability modest
Your own original note can be supplied as new input to another service under that service’s rules. It does not bring a hidden character definition, full chat history or provider-specific memory along with it. Strip unnecessary personal information before copying anything across accounts.
Choose the workflow that makes the character easy to locate and the next scene easy to resume. Our Poli Buzz vs Replika comparison covers another recurring-conversation format. A useful session note keeps plans, events and player choices distinct.
